India - DELHI

India -After the boards it was a much awaited break for me. Going to sleep at my own leisure and waking up not before 10-11 in the morning feels really good. Meeting family members after a very long time and hanging around in Delhi with Ali has been fun. Never in my wildest dreams had I ever thought I would go for shopping in Delhi Hut along with Ali. And to go Guitar shopping in Lajpat Nagar. Tomorrow we leave for Jaipur to meet Harry at 6 in the morning by Ajmer shadabri express. Hopefully it will be a joy ride.

I have always been pro- Indian unlike many and thus before coming here I had raised my expectations of the development of this place. Much to my disappointment, my expectations were shattered as soon as I landed. Dehli is the same. Beggars still own the traffic signals, cars still honk for no reason and stop right in the middle of the junction when it is Red. Pollution is less though. One thing that stikes you is that everything is three figures in price. Mcdonalds burgers, taxis, autos, gifts, everything seems so expensive, but when you convert exchange rate is just awesome. Dirham rocks. Malls here Suck. Ansal Plasa, apparently the best mall here has nothing interesting to offer (not even an arcade) Oh...yea one more thing...here all boys have only two type of hair styles, middle parting and side parting...and girls are short, I mean even shorter than Ali.

Anyway this is just a small summary of what I have seen in Delhi in my five days. Missing Dubai for many reasons. Tejas I am still expecting your reply. Don't disappoint please.

P.S - Don't carry bags while Shopping in delhi, its really annoying, trust me.
